I started rescuing old beads a while back...all remnants of old broken jewelry. Mostly the kind that lay unwanted in the bargain basket at flea markets. Boy! if I could show you my drawer full!!


These are just a few of the ones I've sold to very talented individuals who I'm sure will give them new life. For me, I get great satisfaction knowing they are being reused.


I love vintage beads. They have challeged me to photograph them in a different way. I want to compliment their beauty, I want to create excitement about their possibilities, I want to spark someone's imagination and creativity...

Vintage Love

I have, in the last few years, come to appreciate the beauty of vintage things. Things that have a history, that tell a story.I will never know where they have been, or who they have belonged to, and when I buy them I m just adding to their story. It may be a very romantic view to a simple everyday act, but oh well! I can't help it.
These are two vintage brooches that were given to me by my mother. she found them at an antique mall near San Francisco. I think she has gotten to know my style pretty well over the last two years. I don't know if I will be able to ever part with them. These two might just be keepers...
